Today, Viridity Software announced that it has entered into a strategic partnership agreement with Information Systems Associates, Inc. (OTCQB:IOSA) (ISA). Under terms of the agreement, Viridity will offer ISA’s Data Center Collection service and OSPI Mobile system, in conjunction with its EnergyCenter software offering. When deployed in conjunction with EnergyCenter, the Data Center Collection service and OSPI Mobile system will enable data center, IT and facilities managers to achieve and maintain a firm grasp on the various IT assets and other equipment that have been added over time and spread across their data center environment, as well as identify each item’s utilization, application relationship, business criticality, and energy use.
ISA’s Data Center Collection onsite asset inventory service provides customers with an automatic deep dive data center survey that catalogs such areas as rack and device labeling schemes, manufacturers and models of devices. Viridity EnergyCenter customers can pre-schedule each site’s inventory, as well as set parameters that ensure adherence to all organizational security requirements and policies.
ISA’s OSPI Mobile data center asset management system enables Viridity EnergyCenter customers to securely monitor and manage their data center from a handheld device. This added ability dramatically reduces the time and effort necessary for data collection, asset inventory and data center change management. The OSPI system also maintains an audit archive for inventory management, future reference and regulatory compliance.
“This agreement underscores ISA’s commitment to establishing partnerships with category leaders, such as Viridity Software, whose customers can directly benefit from ISA’s deep understanding of data center infrastructure management systems,” said Joe Coschera, CEO, Information Systems Associates (ISA). “Being selected to offer our Data Center Collection and OSPI mobile management system in conjunction with Viridity’s world-class EnergyCenter software is further validation of the uniqueness and tremendous value of our patented data collection tools.”
“Indeed, we at Viridity also strive to build strategic relationships with visionary technology developers that can build-upon and enhance EnergyCenter’s value,” said Michael Tresh, Director of Product Marketing and Management, Viridity Software. “Through this partnership, Viridity Software customers will directly benefit from the ability to collect and manage data center asset information at a much more granular level – onsite or from a remote location via a handheld device. However, bottom line the new Viridity Software offering enables customers to more quickly and easily manage their data center environment, protect it from power brown-or black-out, and dramatically lower costs by identifying opportunities for optimization, consolidation and/or elimination.”
The Data Center Collection onsite asset inventory service and OSPI Mobile data center asset management system are now generally available from Viridity Software.
