What is the Energy Efficiency Assessment?
Viridity Software, the leader in energy resource management, is offering an assessment of your data center that will identify areas for energy efficiency savings. The assessment costs $2500 and includes these three steps:
Gather - A dedicated Viridity ERM Specialist will work with the IT or facilities manager to complete an inventory of data center assets.
Discover - Viridity’s EnergyCenter software will be deployed to discover, monitor and trend such areas as server utilization, power consumption, and cooling efficiency.
Report – A high level report will be delivered containing the detailed data center asset inventory (i.e., device, address, description, operating system, processors, disk drives, memory, etc.), the overall data center energy consumption number, the percentage of non-productive (i.e., equipment running in the data center that is not associated with any business application, yet still taking up floor space and consuming energy) and/or inefficient devices, as well as an ROI report card with the estimated cost savings opportunity.
At the end of your Data Center Energy Efficiency assessment, if you decide to purchase the Viridity EnergyCenter software you will be issued a discount for the full cost of the assessment.
